cellular and traditional radio support

Fleetack connects to your two-way radio or push-to-talk over cellular (PoC) network so dispatchers can call any bus or talk group directly from the dispatch board — no separate console required. Every transmission is logged with timestamp, vehicle, and driver. Recordings are searchable, route-tagged, and tied into the operational record. Compatible with Motorola WAVE, Kenwood NX-series, Hytera RadioPTT, ESChat, Zello Work, and Tait UnifyVoice.

What this integration does

Capabilities included when Dispatch Radio (PTT) is connected to Fleetack.

01

Push-to-talk from any browser

Hold the PTT button on the dispatch board to talk to any vehicle, route group, or the entire fleet. No physical radio console required.

02

Per-vehicle and group talk channels

Address a single bus, all buses on Route A, all AM-shift drivers, or the full fleet. Talk groups configured per operation.

03

Call recording and transcripts

Every PTT call is recorded, transcribed, and associated with the vehicle, driver, and route. Searchable in the platform.

04

Driver acknowledgment and call status

See whether the driver heard and acknowledged the call. Missed transmissions queue for retry — no message lost in noise.

05

PoC integration — Motorola WAVE, ESChat, Zello

Connect to Push-to-Talk over Cellular providers. Drivers use a smartphone or rugged PoC device — no dedicated radio infrastructure.

06

Traditional LMR radio bridge

Bridge into Motorola, Kenwood, Hytera, and Tait two-way radio systems. Existing radio infrastructure stays in place.

07

Emergency and priority calls

Drivers can flag an emergency from their device. Priority calls cut through normal traffic and surface immediately on the dispatch board.

08

Geofence-triggered announcements

Set automated voice announcements that fire when a vehicle enters or exits a geofence — depot arrivals, school zone entries, route start.
